In a special night in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, the Moroccan champion Tariq Khabbaz was able to regain the title of world champion in kickboxing for the light heavyweight category, during his fight within the GLORY 104 events that took place on Saturday evening.
The final confrontation witnessed a strong battle that brought together Khabbaz and the Azerbaijani-Iranian fighter Bahram Rajabzadeh for the vacant title, where the two sides fought five exciting rounds characterized by rivalry and toughness. After the end of the match, Khabbaz decided to win by unanimous decision from the refereeing committee, to be crowned world champion for the second time in his professional career, and to return the belt to his vaults after a year of losing it. This coronation comes to consecrate a strong return for the Moroccan fighter to the top of world kickboxing, after he had lost the title in June 2025 to the Lithuanian Sergei Masloboyev, before he regained it today with a heroic performance that restored his global brilliance.
