The Moroccan national team under 20 years old achieved an unprecedented football achievement, by winning the "Chile 2025" World Cup, after defeating the Argentine national team with two goals to nil, in the final match hosted by the National Stadium Julio Martinez Pradanos in the capital, Santiago.
The "Atlas Cubs" gave a heroic performance throughout the stages of the championship, confirming Morocco's position as a rising force in world football, after the remarkable performance of the first team in the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The King chairs a ministerial council and announces important support for health and education
On the same day, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, chaired an important ministerial council at the Royal Palace in Rabat, which was devoted to deliberating on the general orientations of the draft finance law for the year 2026, and approving several draft laws and regulatory decrees.
The Minister of Economy and Finance presented a detailed presentation to His Majesty the King, which included raising the budget allocated to the health and education sectors to 140 billion dirhams, in addition to creating more than 27,000 new financial positions to support the two sectors.
Major investments in health and education
As for the health sector, university hospitals will be inaugurated in Agadir and Laayoune, the construction of Ibn Sina Hospital in Rabat will be completed, and work will continue in hospitals in Beni Mellal, Guelmim and Errachidia, in addition to launching a project to rehabilitate 90 hospitals across the Kingdom.
As for education, the implementation of the roadmap for reforming the education system will be accelerated, through the generalization of primary education, improving the quality of education, and strengthening social support programs for students.
Sports crowning and strategic decisions… Morocco makes history
