Mohamed Manfalouti – HIBAPRESS
As usual, and as it has always done whenever its options narrow, the so-called "Polisario" front issued a message through its representative at the United Nations, as if it were threatening the international community with a tone that does not go beyond the context of organizations outside the law that rebel against the rules of international law.
The front, as if it were threatening and rebelling, said in its message to the current President of the Security Council that passing the draft resolution without taking its proposals into account makes it outside of participation in any political process or negotiations based on the content of the draft resolution. The front returned in the same context, as if it were imploring members of the Security Council, and courting their interventions, addressing them by saying that it is confident in their commitment to the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law. The front, after years of waving the logic of war and no alternative to war, insecurity and instability in the region, returned shamelessly to raise the slogan of a just solution and a just and lasting peace… Oh, peace… What a strangeness…. Where were these slogans of the front when the hand of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, was extended to us in security and peace… The emergence of the so-called "Polisario" front in the dead time of diplomatic time and the great momentum that the issue of our territorial unity has known, was interacted with by the Algerian political activist "Walid Kabir", who wrote in a comment: "Polisario threatens Washington, it has contacted the Russian representative, who currently chairs the Security Council, and informed him of its rejection of engaging in the settlement process if the American draft resolution enshrining Moroccan sovereignty over the Sahara is voted on." The Algerian political activist wondered, saying: "The Polisario has two choices, no third: either accepting autonomy, or being classified as a terrorist organization."
