The health center in Ait Boulli, belonging to the Azilal province, witnessed a successful birth for a woman in her forties, who hails from the douar of Ouraghen in the Ait Bouaouli commune, thanks to the precise professional intervention of the principal multi-specialty nurse, Mr. Yassine Al-Basri.
According to a publication by the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Azilal, the woman had arrived at the health center after a failed attempt at childbirth at home. She was taken care of urgently, and the delivery process took more than an hour of concentrated medical efforts, resulting in the birth of a healthy baby girl. The mother was kept under medical observation, with sources confirming that their condition is stable and they are receiving the necessary care. According to the same source, this case highlights the importance of regular prenatal checkups and early visits to health institutions to avoid complications that may result from home births, especially in mountainous areas that experience difficulty accessing health services. In this context, the delegation praised this humanitarian and professional intervention, commending the efforts of healthcare professionals working in rural and mountainous areas, who continue to perform their noble mission in bringing health services closer to citizens and ensuring safe maternity care across the various regions of the province.
