Casablanca stock exchange ends session slightly up

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed Friday’s session slightly higher, with its main index, the MASI, gaining 0.07% to 12,259.05 points.

The Morocco Stock Index (MSI 20), which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, rose by 0.4% to 990.9 points, while the Casablanca ESG 10 index also gained 0.31% to 917.54 points.

On the upside, the strongest increases were recorded by Microdata (+5.99% to MAD 580.8), HPS (+5.98% to MAD 6,465), and Managem (+5.96% to MAD 2,381).

In contrast, Delattre Levivier Maroc showed the highest drop (-6% to MAD 67.87), followed by Disway (-6% to MAD 735.1), and Stroc Industrie (-5.98% to MAD 43.25).

The global volume of exchanges amounted to MAD 223.06 million, while the market capitalization reached MAD 636.34 billion.
