The Authenticity and Modernity party expressed its deep satisfaction and great pride in the contents of the historic royal speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, to the Moroccan people and the international community, on the evening of Friday, October 31, 2025, which came in the context of the decisive transformations that the issue of the territorial integrity of the Kingdom is witnessing, following the new UN resolution issued by the Security Council, which clearly affirmed that the initiative of self-government under Moroccan sovereignty is the realistic and only framework for resolving the fabricated conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
In an official statement, the party praised what it described as "a historical turning point in the path of modern Morocco," calling for making October 31st a national holiday to celebrate this diplomatic victory that consecrates the legitimacy of the Moroccan position and strengthens the national consensus on the Sahara issue. The party affirmed its great pride in the "wisdom and insight" with which His Majesty led this file since he ascended the throne, indicating that the wise royal vision has moved the Sahara issue from the stage of management to the stage of change and the final consolidation of national sovereignty. The Authenticity and Modernity party also praised His Majesty's decision to update and detail the self-government initiative and make it a practical reference for negotiation within the halls of the United Nations, considering it the realistic and applicable solution, indicating that this royal approach reflects confidence in the justice of the Moroccan cause and the justice of its proposals. In the same context, the party praised the sincere call of His Majesty to our brothers in the Tindouf camps to return to their homeland and actively participate in managing their local affairs within their motherland, Morocco, to build their common future and contribute to the development of the southern provinces. The party also saluted the royal approach based on the outstretched hand towards Algeria, affirming that His Majesty continues, with steadfastness, the option of dialogue and joint cooperation and renouncing differences, based on the firm conviction that building a strong and integrated Maghreb union is a strategic interest for the peoples of the region. At the conclusion of its statement, the party recalled the national spirit of the symbols of liberation and unity, headed by His Majesty the late Mohammed V and His Majesty King Hassan II, along with the souls of the nation's martyrs, highly appreciating the great sacrifices made by the Royal Armed Forces and the security services in defense of the unity and stability of the nation. The Authenticity and Modernity party affirmed that it will remain, alongside His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, mobilized and vigilant in order to implement these historical developments within the southern provinces and move forward in consolidating the Moroccan identity of the Sahara on the ground.
