The resolution stressed the need for the parties to engage in negotiations without preconditions, confirming that the Moroccan autonomy proposal represents the realistic and applicable solution to the fabricated conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
The party considered this resolution a historic achievement and a victory for Moroccan rights and national legitimacy, based on the successive legitimate allegiance bonds and established historical facts, the religious, social and cultural cohesion between the people of the nation, and the culmination of a long struggle in the face of colonialism and foreign interference, and the rejection of fragmentation projects, and the endeavor to enhance cooperation and joint action between the brotherly Maghreb peoples.
In this historical context, and with the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the Green March, the party expressed its warm congratulations to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, and to the Moroccan people, especially our brothers in the southern Saharan regions, on this historic achievement on the path to the final settlement of the fabricated regional conflict. It also prayed for mercy on the souls of King Hassan II, may God have mercy on him, and His Majesty King Mohammed V, may God have mercy on him, and all the martyrs of the nation, independence and unity.
The party stressed its praise for the continuous political and diplomatic efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, which culminated in a series of international recognitions of the Moroccan nature of the southern regions, and were embodied in the consolidation of autonomy as the sole political solution to this conflict. It also renewed its appreciation for the efforts of the Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie, National Security, Auxiliary Forces, and Civil Defense in defending the unity and stability of the nation.
The party also affirmed its appreciation for the work of state institutions and Moroccan diplomacy at the international level, as well as the activity of parliamentary, partisan and civil diplomacy in defending the national cause and confronting hostile maneuvers. It also expressed its thanks to the Security Council and all brotherly and friendly countries for their supportive positions on the Moroccan proposal for autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty.
In this context, the party called on our Sahrawi brothers in the Tindouf camps to seize this historic opportunity to unite and engage in a consensual and final political solution that preserves everyone's face. It also urged Algeria to invoke common interests and respond to the hand extended to Morocco to close the page of disagreement and open a new page based on trust, cooperation and common interests to enhance development, security and stability in the region.
The party concluded by referring to its full involvement and calling on national forces to mobilize and be vigilant behind His Majesty the King to make this historic stage successful, and to consolidate cooperative relations with our brothers in Algeria, and to resume the march of building the Maghreb edifice, in a way that guarantees the national and territorial unity of the Kingdom of Morocco and resolves the fabricated conflict over the Sahara definitively.
