HIBAPRESS – Rabat
During a question-and-answer session in the House of Representatives, the Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Wahbi, revealed that he aspired to establish a "City of Justice" in Casablanca, in the Zenata area, to bring together various courts and judicial institutions in a single, modern, and organized space.
Wahbi explained that the project aimed to modernize the judicial infrastructure and facilitate citizens' access to justice, but a "certain party" – without mentioning them by name – obstructed the implementation of the idea and caused the project to be halted before its inception. The minister added, saying: "I was dreaming of building the City of Justice in Zenata, but a certain party came and obstructed everything for us, and I hope that a minister will come one day who has more courage than me and will do it," expressing his hope to see the project come to fruition in the future, as it is important in developing the judiciary and improving the working conditions of judges and employees.
