In a decisive and unprecedented step at the level of the Kingdom's courts, the Public Prosecution at the Court of First Instance in Inzgan, under the supervision of its Attorney General, Dr. "Hicham El Hassani", launched a wide-ranging campaign to combat the phenomenon of "brokers" within the judicial facilities, within the framework of a strict policy aimed at protecting litigants and preserving the prestige of justice.
This campaign came after monitoring a group of suspicious movements within the court's surroundings, as the security services were able, at the beginning of this week, and based on direct instructions from the Attorney General, to arrest a person suspected of involvement in brokerage activities inside the corridors of the Court of First Instance in Inzgan.
According to the data obtained by the newspaper, the suspect's actions caught the attention of the Public Prosecution, which noticed, through surveillance cameras, suspicious movements that he was carrying out, including monitoring a woman inside the court corridors in a way that raised suspicion. Immediately, the Public Prosecution issued instructions to the security guard elements, where the suspect was arrested inside the court building and taken to the headquarters of the judicial police in Inzgan to be investigated under the supervision of the Public Prosecution.
The judicial authorities continue their investigations to find out the backgrounds of the case, and to reveal whether the detainee is active within an organized network that practices illegal mediation within the judicial facility.
This operation falls within the framework of the largest national campaign launched by the Public Prosecution in Inzgan to dry up the sources of brokerage, and to consolidate the principles of transparency and integrity within the courts, in response to general directives aimed at creating a sound judicial life and protecting the reputation of the Moroccan judiciary.
Informed sources confirmed that this strict campaign comes with direct instructions from the Public Prosecution, which stresses the need to resolutely address all practices that affect the credibility of the judiciary, highlighting that the next phase will witness an expansion of the scope of surveillance and the strengthening of the presence of security agencies within the courts.
With this qualitative move, the Court of First Instance in Inzgan registers a new precedent in confronting the phenomenon of brokerage in the courts, and directs a clear message that justice will not tolerate any form of mediation or extortion within its facilities.
