Giant Exxon wins gas exploration contract off Essaouira, Safi and Agadir

In the context of the first positive indicators emerging off the coast of Essaouira, Safi, Agadir and Sidi Ifni, a giant company specializing in gas exploration has decided to enter the Moroccan market by obtaining a prospecting license on the above-mentioned coasts.
To this end, ExxonMobil, through its subsidiary Exxon Exploration International, has signed two contracts for the exploration of natural gas off the coasts of Agadir, Essaouira, Safi and Sidi Ifni.
These agreements were signed in Rabat between Charles David Toutfait, CEO of Exxon Exploration International, and Amina Benkhadra, CEO of the National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines.
Under these agreements, the world-renowned gas and mineral exploration company undertakes to mobilize all its human, technological and logistical resources to conduct large-scale exploration operations in coastal fields, supported by available positive data and indicators.
It is worth noting that ExxonMobil manages oil and gas fields in about 20 countries around the world and is among the largest publicly traded companies in its field of expertise.
