HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
In a new stop on the "Path of Achievements" tour, today, Saturday, more than 3,500 female and male activists of the National Rally of Independents party gathered in Mediouna, Casablanca-Settat region, to listen to the speech of the party's president, Aziz Akhannouch, who recalled before this large audience pivotal moments in the party's journey since the sixth party conference, stressing that the region has always been a space for launching major initiatives and a field for strong commitments towards citizens.
Akhannouch said that the Casablanca stop reminds him of the regional conference that the party held after its national conference in 2018, when he called on the party's activists to actively engage in the dynamics of change, and collective thinking about the priorities of Moroccans, at the forefront of which are education, health, and employment. He highlighted that the party's commitment then was not a fleeting slogan, but rather a collective pledge to an ambitious national project, based on finding realistic solutions to priority problems. The head of government affirmed that what unites the party's components today, and what drives them to continue working, is a clear vision for a better future, stressing that serving the nation and citizens remains the compass that guides all efforts. He added that when Moroccans gave their trust to the party in the ballot boxes, they entrusted it with the responsibility of improving their lives today, not tomorrow, which is what made the government start from the beginning with a precise vision and a specific action plan. Akhannouch highlighted that the "Morocco of Solutions" vision adopted by the party is based on generalizing social dignity, ensuring good education that opens up future prospects, and providing job opportunities for young people, in addition to consolidating social justice and empowering citizens with a decent life and equal opportunities. He said that "working with conscience and commitment" is the way to make this vision a tangible reality. Despite the great progress made in recent years, Akhannouch stressed that the mission is still ongoing, and that building the "rising Morocco," as His Majesty King Mohammed VI emphasizes, requires more work and commitment. He concluded by saying: "We are gathered today in Mediouna to confirm that we are continuing on the right path. With the confidence of His Majesty the King and the support of Moroccans, we will continue to work with a sense of responsibility, and raise the level of achievement for the good of the nation and citizens."
