The seventh stop of the National Tour of the National Rally of Independents party, "Path of Achievements," was a timely opportunity for the party's president, Aziz Akhannouch, to convey several messages to his supporters, opponents, and the general public, stating that what unites the Rally members is "a shared vision for a better future," based on fulfilling the commitments the party made at the beginning of its term to Moroccans, with the aim of achieving a "Rising Morocco."
The Era of Justice, Dignity, and Prosperity
In front of approximately 3,500 members of the "Pigeon" party who attended last Saturday from various provinces of the Casablanca-Settat region to Mediouna province, Aziz Akhannouch emphasized working diligently under the wise leadership of His Majesty, and working towards a Morocco where justice, dignity, and prosperity prevail.
As a renewal of the covenant with the citizens, the head of government mentioned the goals of the Casablanca regional conference in 2018, i.e., before the party came to the presidency of the government, which revolved around achieving "social reform" and finding solutions to problems of education, health, and employment.
Aziz Akhannouch also linked responsibility and trust, pointing out in the same speech, which was accompanied by applause, cheers, and an atmosphere of enthusiasm, that the trust of Moroccans in the party holds its members responsible for responding to the aspirations of these people and changing their lives for the better, stressing working according to a "clear vision and action plan" for a Morocco of dignity, justice, and opportunities, a Morocco that provides protection for its citizens and guarantees the future of their children.
Rising Morocco..
The phrase "Rising Morocco" was also frequently repeated in Akhannouch's speech, who acknowledged that the task was not yet finished and that the party is committed to continuing to work "to contribute to building the Rising Morocco" as the King of the country wants. Here, the speaker presented concrete numbers and achievements that prove the government's fulfillment of its obligations, especially in implementing the royal project of social protection.
Among the figures that the president of the Rally included, more than 4 million families benefited from direct monthly support (between 500 and 1200 dirhams), the generalization of health coverage and the establishment of a unified health protection system for all Moroccans, and the enabling of more than 55,000 families to purchase their main housing thanks to housing support, and the benefit of more than 4 million families from the increase in wages in the public and private sectors and the agricultural sector.
The economic aspect also had a share of Akhannouch's speech, who said that Morocco continues to achieve positive and continuous growth, reaching 3.8% in 2024, and the expectation of reaching 4.8% in 2025, which means creating job opportunities, pointing to the decrease in the unemployment rate in the third quarter of this year thanks to the creation of more than 213,000 jobs in the productive sectors (construction, services, industry).
Akhannouch also spoke about launching a support program for very small, small, and medium-sized companies, with financial support reaching 30% of the value of the investment, to create stable job opportunities. As well as launching the "Tadrij" program, which aims to train 100,000 trainees annually by the end of the government's term to facilitate access to the labor market.
Health.. the highest priority
Aziz Akhannouch, in his speech as well, pointed to the royal directives to establish new university hospitals in Rabat, Agadir, and a hospital center in Casablanca, stressing that "health is a matter of dignity" and "no dignity without health," and that access to fair and quality health services is a right, not a privilege.
He stressed that this reform will be radical, pointing out that the reforms are not "patchwork," but rather work to meet the immediate expectations and build a better future.
In this context, Akhannouch described the 2026 Finance Bill as an "exceptional social finance law," by responding to the royal directives, and linking the historical increases in the budgets of the health and education sectors to the royal directives.
He stressed that the law aims to accelerate the path of "Rising Morocco," strengthen the social state, raise the value of direct social support, and ensure price stability, so that the citizen's pocket is not affected.
The Message of Local Work..
Akhannouch emphasized the vital role of local work in bringing about tangible change in the lives of citizens, pointing to the great development in urban transport in Casablanca as a type of "spatial justice," which allows all residents to access all parts of the city.
He also touched on the work done between the various authorities, especially in allocating 5,000 hectares for economic and logistical activities, praising Nabila R'Mili, the mayor of the city, and her role in transforming the Mediouna landfill, which was a "black spot," into a green space, and working on establishing a plant to convert waste into energy.
Akhannouch concluded his speech with a direct message to the party's supporters about the method of work, demanding that the party cadres "listen to the citizens, be present in the field, and work with the citizens to solve their problems," calling for continuing the march "with courage, patience, faith, and confidence," and requesting the continuation of Moroccans' trust in the party as the one capable of contributing to building a strong and just Morocco.
