An employee at the Dar Al-Bir Wal-Ihsan Foundation in the Al-Mohammadi district of Gueliz, Marrakech, attempted suicide this Friday morning by pouring gasoline on his body inside the administration headquarters.
According to "HIBAPRESS" sources, the reasons behind the employee's suicide attempt are due to social circumstances, as one of his relatives suffers from a chronic illness that requires a significant sum of money. This led him to ask the administration to lend him the money, and when he discovered that his request would not be met, he resorted to pouring gasoline on his body, were it not for the intervention of some employees to prevent him from setting himself on fire.
Upon being notified of the incident, elements of the seventh district went to the scene of the accident, where the person was transported in an ambulance to receive treatment as a result of his injuries to the eyes, and an investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office.
