The Royal Gendarmerie elements at the Oulad Hassoun territorial center, on the outskirts of Marrakech, managed on Thursday to arrest a person wanted under several national search warrants, caught in possession of five slabs of hashish, according to local sources of the newspaper.
The same sources explained that the person in question is suspected of involvement in drug trafficking in the region, where he was arrested after surveillance and monitoring that led to the setting of a sophisticated trap that ended with the seizure of the mentioned quantity of hashish. The suspect has been placed under custody pending the investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor's office, in order to deepen the investigations into what is attributed to him and uncover potential extensions of his criminal activity.
