The Marrakech Bar Association has strengthened its social presence in Ouarzazate by acquiring new real estate to establish a professional and social club near the Primary Court. The project aims to provide a qualified space to accommodate lawyers working in Ouarzazate and neighboring areas such as Zagora, Kalaat Mgouna, and Tinghir, with a view to improving working conditions and organizing professional meetings.
The process of purchasing the property was carried out by mutual agreement with the family of the late Professor Omar Sami, one of the prominent names in the legal profession. It is a villa that extends over an area of approximately 600 square meters, providing suitable spaces for meetings and professional communication. The Board of the Association unanimously decided to name the club after the deceased in recognition of his professional career and contributions to serving the legal profession and society. During the ceremony of signing the property purchase contract, the captain, Moulay Slimane El Omrani, confirmed that this achievement falls within the framework of the Association's keenness to develop its social infrastructure and provide integrated facilities that meet the needs of lawyers. He explained that the project constitutes a qualitative step in strengthening the Association's territorial presence and improving the quality of professional and social services, especially for the benefit of lawyers coming from neighboring areas. The captain added that this initiative constitutes the beginning of a comprehensive vision that aims to generalize the experience to other cities within the Association's jurisdiction. He revealed the programming of establishing similar clubs in each of Kalaat Sraghna, Ben Guerir, and Imintanout, with the aim of bringing social services closer to all lawyers and consolidating a culture of recognition and loyalty to the pioneers of the profession. The new club is a strategic step in the path of the Marrakech Bar Association in Ouarzazate towards improving the working conditions of lawyers and developing social and professional services. The project also consolidates the preservation of professional memory and honoring its symbols, foremost of whom is the late Professor Omar Sami, in recognition of his continuous giving to the legal profession and society.
