The Oujda Security Directorate hosted, last Saturday, November 29th, a ceremony for excellence and creativity, organized on the initiative of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works for National Security personnel and the Oujda Security Directorate, under the slogan "Celebrating excellence, a lever for consolidating a culture of merit and recognition."
This ceremony was dedicated to celebrating the outstanding students from the children and orphans of police officers who obtained the highest grades in the baccalaureate exams for the academic year 2024-2025, as well as honoring a group of retirees from the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate for the Surveillance of National Territory. The speeches given on this occasion, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Works for National Security personnel, Mohamed Mchmachi, the Wali of Oujda Security, Abdelkhalek Zidawi, and security officials, confirmed that this celebration carries deep connotations, as it represents an appreciation of the distinguished academic path of the children and a motivation for them to follow the path of success, achieving the aspirations of their parents who are dedicated to the security of the nation and citizens. The ceremony also represented a moment of loyalty and honor for retirees who spent their youth serving the security institution, thereby consolidating a culture of recognition of their great sacrifices and their dedication to performing their professional duty with selflessness to build the edifice of this ancient institution. In a statement to the "HIBAPRESS" website, Mchmachi explained that this event, which is an extension of the central ceremony organized by the Foundation in Rabat on November 18th, translates the ongoing care that the General Directorate of National Security gives to improving the social conditions of its members, whether they are in service, retired, or beneficiaries, and encouraging the spirit of creativity and scientific excellence.
