HIBAPRESS – Rabat
The appearance of Imam Idriss Idrissi, a member of the local scientific council in Khenifra, in front of the appeals court in Beni Mellal, wearing an inside-out robe, caused a wide controversy on social media.
Idrissi said in a post published on his Facebook account that the act of turning the robe inside out was "an indication that my short mind has not yet grasped the verdict issued by the appeals court." This clarification came with a photo posted by "Scholar of Khenifra", taken in front of the Beni Mellal Court of Appeal, after he registered two files with the Court of Cassation. The first relates to what he called the betrayal by the head of the Scientific Council of the trust of the Commander of the Faithful. The second file is related to "malicious accusations thrown at me by opponents in revenge for exposing the betrayal and forgery," he said. The scholar confirmed that knocking on the door of the Court of Cassation today confirms that "the only option for restoring rights and repelling injustice is only through constitutional institutions and respect for the decisions issued by them." At the end of his post, the scholar expressed his confidence that the truth will appear in this case, even if after a while, citing the holy Quranic verse: "And Allah is dominant over His affair, but most people do not know."
