A 27-year-old Moroccan young man died in a horrific work accident in the town of Montello, near the city of Bergamo, northern Italy, according to local sources.
The same sources stated that the deceased was named "G. M." who worked for a company specializing in maintenance work, was involved in a serious accident after a huge cylinder pulled him during his work, which led to him being trapped underneath it in a very dangerous situation. Despite the rapid intervention of the rescue teams, their attempts to save his life were unsuccessful due to the force of the impact and the severity of the injuries he sustained. The accident left a state of deep sadness and resentment among his colleagues at work and the Moroccan community residing in the area, who expressed their shock at this tragic incident, with renewed calls to enhance occupational safety standards in workplaces.
