“Algeria… Discovery of the bodies of 12 Syrians who died of thirst in the desert”

Deaths of African and Syrian migrants from starvation and thirst, due to mistreatment, continue to increase in the camps.

In this context, Algeria announced the discovery of 12 Syrians who died of thirst in the desert.

The “Rescue and Research Association” of the city of Tamanrasset, Algeria, has published a detailed list of victims with their dates of birth and the names of their deceased parents.

She specified that “the Syrian victims were found in the region of Beni Abbès”, adding that “the relatives of the victims can contact the body preservation service at the hospital of Béchar Omar Idriss in the wilaya of El Oued to recover the bodies”.
