On Wednesday in Munich, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Evaluation of Public Policies, Karim Zidane, held a series of high-level meetings with institutional and economic officials in Bavaria, as part of the "Morocco Now" tour.

These meetings were an opportunity to highlight the increasing interest of Bavarian partners in the investment opportunities offered by Morocco. The Munich stop, which followed the Berlin stop, allowed for the presentation of the Kingdom's competitive advantages and investment opportunities in promising industrial sectors, in a context where Morocco is solidifying its position as a strategic platform for Europe and Africa.

In this context, Zidane held discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister of Bavaria, Hubert Aiwanger, focusing on the prospects for strengthening the partnership between Morocco and Germany, especially with Bavaria, a region known globally for the diversity and efficiency of its industrial fabric.

These discussions focused, in particular, on developing cooperation in the tourism, industry, renewable energy, and green hydrogen sectors, areas in which Morocco stands out as a reliable and competitive partner thanks to its strategic geographical location, qualified human resources, and modern infrastructure.

In the same context, Zidane held a meeting with officials from the Bavarian Entrepreneurs Association, which represents over 160 organizations and economic actors and employs about 4.8 million people, equivalent to about 90 percent of the private sector in Bavaria. The discussions confirmed the actual interest of these companies in the investment prospects offered by Morocco.

The Minister Delegate also discussed with the General Director of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco, Katharina Felgenhauer, ways to enhance the presence of German companies, especially Bavarian ones, in the Kingdom.

In this context, Felgenhauer praised the remarkable progress made by Morocco, considering it a "reliable partner for companies wishing to invest or develop integrated value chains directed towards African and European markets."

A number of industrial suppliers affiliated with the German Chamber participated in this meeting, expressing increasing interest in the opportunities offered by the Kingdom.

The Munich stop concluded with a reception dedicated to Moroccan talents residing in Germany. Zidane seized the opportunity to invite them to strengthen their involvement in serving the major economic transformations taking place in the Kingdom, highlighting the importance of the contribution of Moroccans in Germany to the national industrial dynamism and the need to strengthen the bridges between the community and Moroccan institutions within a framework of joint construction and shared development.

The "Morocco Now" tour in Germany, which includes Berlin, Munich, and Stuttgart, is led by the Minister Delegate Karim Zidane, accompanied by the Moroccan Ambassador to Germany, Zohour Alaoui, the General Director of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development, Ali Seddiki, and the General Director of the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion Group, Khalid Safir.
