The Sahrawi Association for the Defense of Human Rights demands justice from the investigation conducted by the former judge of the National Court, Mr. Baltasar Garzón against Brahim Ghali

HIBAPRESS-RABAT
The alleged “president of the SADR” Brahim Ghali has been prosecuted for a long time for serious crimes against humanity with genocide, associated with crimes of assassination, injuries, illegal detention, terrorism, torture and forced disappearances, crimes which have earned him to be accused by the Sahrawi Association for the Defense of Human Rights (ASADEDH)
We know the terror that is raging in the Polisario camps where Ghali is keen to make life hard for the sequestered Sahrawis who live under the yoke of his tyranny and that of Algeria.
The fact remains that all the barbaric acts that Ghali had committed did not pass without ASADEDH reacting appropriately to want to indict him so that he could pay for his crimes, except that the Ghali case and its judgments in the Spanish courts remained dead letters.
As a result, ASADEDH has just brought to the attention of international public opinion the multiple irregularities noted since the beginning of the investigation conducted by the former judge of the National Court, Mr. Baltasar Garzón, in the context of the complaint filed by ASADEDH against Brahim Ghali, accused of serious crimes against humanity with genocide, associated with crimes of murder, injuries, illegal detention, terrorism, torture and forced disappearances, crimes which, according to international law and the Charter of the United Nations, are crimes against international peace and security.
However, the complaint filed by the association since 2007 was incomprehensibly dismissed this year 2024 due to “prescription” by the Supreme Court, according to ASADEDH.
ASADEDH also wishes to confirm that it has full confidence in the Spanish justice system and is therefore appealing this decision so that no crime committed against the Sahrawi population in the Tindouf camps (Algeria) remains unpunished and that no leader of the Polisario Front escapes justice.
