A horrific traffic accident occurred a short while ago, this Wednesday afternoon, in the Al-Odaya municipality, on the outskirts of Marrakech, resulting in the amputation of a woman's leg in her forties.
According to sources from the newspaper, a large truck transporting sand ran over the woman while she was attempting to cross the road, leading to the amputation of her leg in a tragic scene. Immediately after being notified of the accident, local authorities and elements of the Royal Gendarmerie moved to the scene, where the surroundings of the accident were secured and an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances and details of the incident, and to take the legal measures in force. The victim was quickly transported by ambulance to the Mohammed VI University Hospital in Marrakech to receive the necessary treatment.
