The new documentary that highlights the life of Melania Trump has exceeded expectations at the North American box office, recording revenues of seven million dollars over the weekend.
The film, produced by Amazon MGM, details the twenty days leading up to her husband's inauguration as President of the United States in 2025, and ranked third among the most-watched films.
Analyst David A. Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research noted that "This is an excellent start for a documentary, but it would have been concerning for any other production due to the film's high cost of $75 million, and the limits of its chances of achieving significant international revenues."
Gross added that "The film represents a political investment more than a profitable cinematic project, as this budget is small compared to Amazon's capabilities."
It is worth mentioning that the film offers followers a new and unprecedented angle on the American First Lady, reflecting a production strategy that combines politics and cinema to attract a wide audience.
