HIBAPRESS – Casablanca
The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs circulated the unified Friday sermon for today, Friday, to all preachers and imams in the various mosques of the Kingdom of Morocco. The topic chosen for the sermon was the Prophet's (PBUH) method in fulfilling the trust of purification.
The sermon came as follows:
The First Sermon
Praise be to Allah, the Kind, the Aware, the Knower of what is hidden in the hearts. We praise and thank Him, seek His help and forgiveness, and seek refuge in Allah from the evils of ourselves and from the evil of our deeds. We bear witness that there is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, there is no Lord for us but Him, He is the God in the heavens and the God in the earth, and we bear witness that our master Muhammad is His servant and messenger and chosen one, and on his good family and his most honored companions and all who followed him and followed his guidance, prayers and perfect and renewed peace as the call to prayer is renewed.
As for what follows; Brothers of faith, Allah Almighty says:
﴿Indeed, Allah conferred a favor upon the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and wisdom, although before that they were in manifest error﴾[1].
Servants of Allah; The second trust of the trusts of the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is the trust of purification mentioned in the noble verse after the trust of recitation, and before the trust of teaching, in preparation for purifying the hearts of the impurities clinging to them, in order to prepare them to receive knowledge and act upon it thereafter.
The noble verse came in the context of the hadith about the Battle of Uhud, and what the Muslims suffered in it from defeat that greatly affected their souls, so the Holy Quran repeated the talk about what they should be of delegation, submission and taking the reasons, and not violating the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in managing the affairs of the Muslims, as He, the Almighty, said in the same context:
﴿And Allah has certainly fulfilled His promise to you when you were killing them by His permission until, when you lost courage and disputed in the matter and disobeyed after He had shown you what you loved. Among you are those who want the world, and among you are those who want the Hereafter.﴾[2].
And their violation did not intercede for them the presence of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, among them; Because the laws of Allah Almighty do not favor anyone.
And thus the Holy Quran disciplined the Companions with what their conduct had of interpretation, as the major issues of the nation do not accept disagreement, and are presented over private interests by consensus. Then he returned to purify them again, and remind them of what Allah Almighty bestowed upon them by sending the Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who was made on his two noble hands, by his saying, his action and his approval, his beautiful qualities, his great characteristics, his noble morals, the sublimity of his building and meaning, and his noble purpose and its meaning, as was his great humility, forgiveness and complete pardon.
He raised them with his character before his action, so they did not raise their eyes to him (PBUH) in reverence and glorification of him, and if they sat in his council they were as if birds were on their heads, and they did not speak in his presence except in whispers.
He raised them with his love before his words, so he concealed sincere love for them and declared it to them, and said to one of them: "O so-and-so, by Allah, I love you." So this word had the utmost impact in their purification.
He raised them by commending before warning, he mentioned their virtues before talking about the defect that should be corrected, as he said to Abdullah bin Omar, may Allah be pleased with them: "What a good man Abdullah is, if he would pray at night." After that, Abdullah did not sleep at night except a little [3].
He raised them by following, accompanying and advising, as he did with Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them, and he was his rider one day and said:
"O boy, I teach you words, keep Allah and He will protect you, keep Allah and you will find Him facing you. If you ask, ask Allah, and if you seek help, seek help from Allah, and know that if the nation gathered to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with something Allah has written for you, and if they gathered to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with something Allah has written for you, the pens have been lifted and the pages have dried up." [4].
And so, people of the faith, men and women, the company of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was all teaching and purification, he taught Ibn Abbas in these words the meanings of monotheism, and he did not leave a favorable opportunity without exploiting it, by removing and embellishing, and he raised his companions, may Allah be pleased with them, in the sky of noble morals, and they were as Ibn Masoud, may Allah be pleased with him, said:
"Those are the companions of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, they were the most pious of this nation in their hearts, the deepest in knowledge and faith, and the least in effort, a people whom Allah, the Almighty, chose for the companionship of His Prophet and the establishment of His religion, so imitate their morals and methods, for they were, by the Lord of the Kaaba, on the straight guidance" [5].
May Allah benefit me and you with His clear Quran and with the hadith of the master of the former and the latter, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
The Second Sermon
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, the True King, the Manifest, and prayers and peace be upon the Imam of the prophets and messengers and upon his family and companions altogether.
Servants of Allah; From the methods and ways of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in purifying his companions is asking about their conditions, and correcting their behavior and giving them examples so that they know the value of the world from the hereafter, and to be indifferent to the transient, and to desire the permanent, and this is a lot in his biography and Sunnah, we mention from that an example for representation, not limitation:
Narrated from Al-Bara' bin Azib, may Allah be pleased with him, he says: a silk garment was presented to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
"A silk garment was presented to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, so his companions began to touch it, and they were amazed at its softness, so he said: "Are you amazed at the softness of this? The handkerchiefs of Sa'd bin Mu'adh in Paradise are better than it and softer" [6].
Servants of Allah; The process of purification needs constant struggle, and self-accounting on the breaths, and nothing is more beneficial in this than reciting the Quran, reading the Prophet's biography, and the biographies of the righteous predecessors, and the circles of remembrance and prayers on the chosen Prophet, and sincerity in supplication and supplication to the one in whose hand is the forelock of the hearts, the Creator of the creation and the Knower of the unseen. And bringing that closer to the old and the young in an easy and enjoyable way, so that souls are purified and live a good life, and belittle pleasures and desires, and are reassured to do good, altruism and other charities.
O believers, O believers,
We praise Allah for what He has bestowed upon our country of good rains, as He, may He be glorified, answered our prayers to ask for rain, so the dams were filled, the reservoir of wells was renewed, and snow fell in the highlands, and we have seen that some areas of the Kingdom have received huge amounts of water that caused floods and some losses, and praise be to Allah, there has appeared an effective general mobilization to face this reality and the authorities in various sectors have been working to implement the supreme orders of the Commander of the Faithful, may Allah protect him, with the aim of protecting the lives and property of the population to the maximum possible of anticipation and precaution, and this mobilization in which everyone participated, working in accordance with the noble Islamic character and was accompanied by all citizens with their interest and they ask for the kindness of Allah in what fate has taken place, and this supplication is what should be insisted on until Allah protects the country and the people from all harm and from all evil and hardship, O Allah, we ask you for kindness in what fate has taken place, O Allah, a rain of mercy, not a rain of torment.
This, and the best with which we conclude the speech, the best prayers and the purest peace, on the guide of the nation and the intercessor of mankind, our master Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, O Allah, bless and grant peace to our master Muhammad, and to the family of our master Muhammad, as you have blessed and granted peace to our master Abraham, and bless our master Muhammad, and to the family of our master Muhammad, as you have blessed our master Abraham, and to the family of our master Abraham in the worlds, you are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
And may Allah be pleased with the rightly guided caliphs; Abu Bakr, Omar, Uthman and Ali, and with the rest of the Companions from the Muhajireen and the Ansar and those who followed them in goodness, and with us with them by your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Lord of the Worlds.
And may Allah grant victory to those whom you have entrusted with the affairs of your servants, and whose hand you have extended in your land and your country, our master, the Commander of the Faithful, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, a dear victory by which you strengthen the religion, and raise the status of Islam and Muslims, O Allah, gladden the eyes of His Majesty with his beloved Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay El Hassan, and strengthen his support with his happy brother, Moulay Rachid, and with the rest of the members of the Sharifan Royal Family, you are the Hearer, the Responder.
And may Allah, with His vast generosity and noble grace, cover the two noble kings; Our master Mohammed V, and our master Hassan II, O Allah, make their soil good, and honor their dwelling, and reward them with the best you have rewarded a benefactor for his beneficence.
O Allah, bring our souls to piety and purify them, you are the best of those who purify them, you are their guardian and their master, O Allah, we ask you for the requirements of your mercy, the resolve of your forgiveness, and safety from every sin, the spoils of every good deed, and victory in Paradise and salvation from the Fire.
Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not put in our hearts rancor towards those who have believed, our Lord, you are compassionate, merciful.
Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers
