Judge Mohamed Boufadi receives a doctorate with honors and a recommendation for publication

This week, the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Tangier was attended by a high-level committee chaired by Dr. Mohamed Gharbi, Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Law of Tangier, Professor Mohamed Raji, Professor of Higher Education at the Faculty of Law of Salé, and Secretary of Notables, Professor at the Faculty of Higher Education of the Faculty of Law of Tangier. The committee also included its members a prominent personality, Mr. Hicham Malati, Director of Criminal Affairs, Pardons and Delinquency Monitoring at the Ministry of Justice, and Mr. AbdelKhaleq Charfi, Deputy Prosecutor of the King in Kenitra, to discuss the thesis of the student, Mr. Mohamed Boufadi. , on the theme: “The role of the public prosecutor in the protection of rights and freedoms”.

The discussion, which was attended by a number of judges, professors, lawyers, some security officers, as well as a number of students and the student’s family, witnessed a lively, deep and passionate discussion on certain topics, given the importance and sensitivity of the subject of the thesis and the circumstances surrounding it.

Judge Mohamed Boufadi welcomed all comments, while responding to some of them in a distinctive manner, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and practice of the subject.

Following the discussion, the committee decided as follows:

The thesis was accepted and Mr. Mohamed Boufadi was awarded the title of doctor with a very honourable distinction, with a recommendation for publication after it had been revised and corrected in a manner consistent with the committee’s observations.

Mohamed Boufadi is one of the magistrates belonging to the previous generation. He exercised the rules of the public prosecutor’s office in a distinguished manner. He spent nearly 14 years as the King’s prosecutor at the first instance of Rommani, leaving behind a good impression that resonates. That day, he was the King’s prosecutor at the court of first instance of Témara, from 2011 to 2019, the date of his promotion to the position of first deputy public prosecutor at the Court of Cassation, a position he still holds with his usual dedication.
