The number of passengers through Tangier Ibn Battuta Airport increased by more than 19.1 percent during January 2026, compared to the same month last year.
According to statistics from the National Airports Office, the airport received about 230,120 passengers last January, compared to 193,230 passengers in January 2025. Regarding aircraft movement, this air facility recorded an increase of more than 12.7 percent, with the number of flights reaching about 1,673 flights compared to 1,484 flights in January 2025. During 2025, the number of passengers who passed through this airport recorded an increase of more than 17.1 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 2,812,029 passengers, compared to 2,399,743 passengers during 2024. According to the National Airports Office, Moroccan airports recorded during last January an air transport movement exceeding 3.13 million passengers, with an increase of 14.7 percent compared to the same month of the year 2025.
