The General Directorate of Meteorology expects cold weather and strong winds with dust or sandstorms to be recorded on Monday, March 30 and tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31, in a number of regions of the Kingdom.
The Directorate explained, in an orange alert bulletin, that cold weather (between minus 02 and 03 degrees) is expected in the prefectures and provinces of Figuig, Guercif, Jerada, Taourirt, Sefrou, Taza, Al Hoceima, and Chefchaouen, and between (minus 03 and minus 06 degrees) in the prefectures and provinces of Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, Beni Mellal, Khénifra, Midelt, Ifrane, Boulemane and Ouarzazate, starting from today, Monday, until tomorrow, Tuesday. The same source added that strong winds with dust or sandstorms (from 70 to 80 km/h) are expected in the prefectures and provinces of Figuig, Assa-Zag, Tata, Tan-Tan, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Es-Semara, and Guelmim, today, Monday, from twelve noon until ten o'clock at night.
