This visit comes in the context of the desire of the security services of Liberia to benefit from the Moroccan experience in various security fields, as well as its keenness to consolidate the successes of this experience and be inspired by it in developing police structures in the Republic of Liberia. During this meeting, the Inspector-General of the Liberian Police expressed his desire to develop cooperation and coordination with the Directorate-General of National Security and the Directorate-General of Territorial Surveillance, by benefiting from the experience of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations in the field of combating extremism and terrorism, as well as the experience of the National Brigade of Judicial Police in combating organized crime in all its forms and shapes, in addition to drawing inspiration from and adopting the same Moroccan experience in the field of developing scientific and technical police laboratories. To consolidate this joint desire to develop joint cooperation in the security field, the two parties agreed to prepare a bilateral memorandum of understanding to organize and frame cooperation on issues of common interest, allowing for the expansion and diversification of the areas and levels of security partnership, with a view to signing it in Rabat in conjunction with the seventieth anniversary of the establishment of the Directorate-General of National Security in May 2026. On another front, the Director-General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance received, on the afternoon of the same Monday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia accredited to Rabat, Yuyu Sutisna.
