During this committee, which will meet periodically or when necessary to take appropriate measures, the government decided to continue supporting butane gas, which has seen a global increase of over 68% since the beginning of the crisis, without affecting the current price of the cylinder. Support for electricity bill prices will also continue to maintain the same tariff.
In the face of the sharp rise in petroleum materials and its impact on the national market, direct and exceptional support will be disbursed to professional transport professionals for goods and people for the period from March 15 to April 15, 2026, after studying more than 87,000 requests received through the electronic platform https://mouakaba.transport.gov.ma

The support includes all categories of public passenger transport, dual transport in the rural world, freight transport for others, school transport, tourist transport, towing vehicles, taxis of the first and second categories, and urban transport buses, with the aim of ensuring the regular supply of markets and the continuation of public transport services at the same fare without burdening citizens with any increase, while emphasizing the commitment of the beneficiary professionals to apply the same prices.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Interior, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of Equipment and Water, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, the Minister of Trade and Industry, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social Economy and Solidarity, the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment and Evaluation of Public Policies, the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, and the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and the Government Spokesperson, in addition to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, and the Director General of the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water.
