On Thursday, a government council meeting was held, chaired by Aziz Akhannouch, which began with a presentation on the implementation of the high royal directives in the field of integrated territorial development, presented by the Minister of Interior.
A statement from the Ministry Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, the official spokesperson for the government, stated that the government council reviewed two organic draft laws and a draft decree concerning the military field, in preparation for their presentation to the ministerial council. The same source added that the matter concerns an organic law project to amend and supplement Organic Law No. 111.14 related to regions, and an organic law project to amend and supplement Organic Law No. 02.12 related to appointments to senior positions in application of the provisions of Articles 49 and 92 of the Constitution, as well as a draft decree supplementing the decree regarding the status of military attachés, their assistants, and other military personnel appointed to work with them.
