The Al-Zohour district in the city of Safi witnessed, shortly before the night of Saturday, a state of alert among the city authorities, after finding an authority agent and his mother-in-law dead, in an accident likely caused by a butane gas leak, while the wife was transferred in a critical condition to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment.
According to sources of the newspaper, the incident was discovered by a neighbor who rushed to inform the concerned authorities, who quickly attended the scene.
The authorities have opened an investigation under the supervision of the Public Prosecution to find out exactly what happened, while the bodies of the victims were transferred to the morgue of the regional hospital in Safi to subject them to a medical examination and determine the final causes of death.
