Austria praised, on Wednesday, April 22nd, the extensive reforms witnessed by Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for a more open and dynamic Moroccan society and economy.
The joint statement, issued following the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, to Vienna, stated that "Austria commends the extensive reforms witnessed by Morocco under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, for the benefit of a more open and dynamic Moroccan society and economy, particularly thanks to the new development model, advanced regionalization, as well as the empowerment of women, and sustainable development." This working visit, which came at the invitation of the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Mrs. Beatrix, was an opportunity to deepen bilateral cooperation on a number of issues of common interest. The two ministers also praised, on this occasion, the historical and distinguished partnership between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Austria.
