The newspaper HIBAPRESS monitored the "Honda" association in the Zomran douar as they carried building materials they purchased with their own money, and began patching many potholes on the road connecting Zomran douar and Al-Thalam douar in the Tsultant commune.
This is happening in the absence of the concerned departments of the Tsultant Communal Council, upon whom the responsibility for road repairs falls. A significant budget of public funds is allocated annually for repairs, which seems to evaporate, while the reality reveals the suffering of citizens with potholes and bumps that pose a danger to the lives of residents, not to mention the damage they cause to cars.
In this regard, members of the association who volunteered to repair the public road stated that their initiative comes after they despaired of the concerned departments in the Tsultant commune ignoring their complaints. Therefore, they preferred to sacrifice their own money and carry out tasks that fall under the council's jurisdiction.
