The commune of Akkaï, on the outskirts of Marrakech, has been experiencing a security alert since yesterday, Sunday, following the kidnapping of a Jordanian investor and the theft of a significant sum of money from him by unknown individuals.
According to the newspaper's sources, the suspects broke into the Jordanian investor's home at night, took him in a car to his company's headquarters, where they stole from him an amount estimated at 20,000 dirhams.
Immediately after receiving the news, elements of the judicial center of the Royal Gendarmerie in Marrakech moved to the commune of Akkaï, where they commenced the necessary investigations and inquiries, to determine the circumstances and details of the incident, uncover the identity of the alleged perpetrators, and assign legal responsibilities according to the results of the investigation.
