Lebanon.. Closure of schools and universities for two days

Lebanese Education Minister Abbas Al-Halabi announced today, Sunday, the closure of schools and higher education establishments in Beirut and its surrounding areas for two days, following two Israeli raids targeting the heart of the Lebanese capital.

In a statement, Al-Halabi explained that public and private educational institutions, as well as private higher education institutions, will be closed on Monday in the administrative regions of Beirut, Chouf Coast, North Coast Matn, of Baabda and of Aley. Tuesday.

He also indicated that teaching will be remote during these two days, calling on the directors of schools, high schools, institutes and private universities in the aforementioned areas to exercise caution.
