HIBAPRESS – I. Al-Samlali
The capital, Rabat, experienced an exceptional historical moment with the official opening of the Royal Theatre, a landmark representing a new era in the Moroccan cultural scene.
From the heart of this event, the Moroccan artist Samira Al-Qadiri shared with her audience via social media platforms feelings of pride and honor, describing her standing on this global stage as "a stand in the presence of history." This ceremony, held under the high patronage of Their Royal Highnesses the Princesses, and in the presence of the First Lady of the French Republic and a selection of art and creativity figures, witnessed the presentation of a purely Moroccan musical composition. Al-Qadiri sang the words of the Sufi Ibn Arabi "I adhere to the religion of love," in a new musical creation signed by the artist Idriss Maloumi, to blend with the authentic oud melodies the power of operatic performance, emphasizing the universal message of the Royal Theatre as a bridge for human communication and a cradle for the Moroccan cultural heritage in its most glorious manifestations.
