The General Directorate of Meteorology expects, for today, Friday, thundershowers in the Rif regions, the Middle Atlas, and locally in the northeast of the country.
Also, other weak rainfall may be observed, possibly accompanied by thunder, in the High Atlas Mountains and the adjacent western regions, the west coast of the Mediterranean Sea, the Sais, and the phosphate and diamond plateaus. It is also expected to record somewhat strong wind gusts in the southeast of the country, the south of the eastern region, the central coasts of the Atlantic Ocean, and the southern provinces, with local scattering of sand grains. Minimum temperatures will range between 03 and 08 degrees in the High Atlas Mountains, between 10 and 14 degrees in the Rif region and the north of the eastern region, between 20 and 24 degrees in the central plains and the Souss region, and between 24 and 32 degrees in the southeast and the desert provinces, and will be between 15 and 20 degrees in the rest of the other areas. As for the maximum temperatures, they will be decreasing over most parts of the Kingdom. The sea will be slightly choppy to rough on the Mediterranean front and the Strait of Gibraltar and along the Atlantic coast, and will become rough to very rough in the evening between Cap Ghir and Tan-Tan.
