The Al-Dkkarat district in the city of Fez was shaken today, Friday, by a tragic incident that left a state of shock and sadness among the residents, following the death of a young man in his thirties inside his residence in one of the buildings on Al-Muwahideen Street, under circumstances that are still under investigation.
According to consistent local data, the person in question was found dead on the balcony of the apartment he lives in, which alerted the neighbors of the district who rushed to notify the competent authorities immediately after discovering the incident. The initial data indicates that the incident comes in a difficult family context, especially as it coincides with a previous incident witnessed by the same dwelling a few weeks ago, which increased the impact of the shock within the family environment and the residents of the residence, pending what the results of the ongoing investigations will reveal. Immediately upon receiving the notification, elements of the local authorities and security services moved to the scene, where the surroundings of the incident were cordoned off and the necessary inspections were carried out, with the opening of a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecution, in order to reveal all the circumstances surrounding this incident. The incident left a state of deep sadness among neighbors and acquaintances, amid calls to raise awareness of the importance of mental health and the need to take care of cases that may suffer in silence, in order to avoid the repetition of such tragedies.
