The incident of finding an abandoned baby on Tuesday mobilized various security services and local authorities in the city of Tangier, after he was discovered near a rubbish container in the Al-Awama area, in circumstances that caused shock and dismay among the residents.
According to eyewitnesses, the infant was found after a number of citizens noticed his cries near the waste collection point, and the competent authorities were notified, who arrived at the scene quickly.
