The Moroccan duo representing the Moroccan national beach volleyball team failed to secure their first victory at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Despite their good performance, especially in the second round, the strength of the American opponent and the experience of its players decided the result.
The Moroccan duo held on in the second round and saved six balls for the match, before “the mouse” stepped in at the request of the Moroccan national team captain to decide the match in a shot that ended the match for the Americans and made the result a draw before the American players decided again, making it the second defeat for the Moroccan doubles in beach volleyball.
