Fouzi Lekjaa confirmed that the government has taken a series of measures to address the repercussions of the international crisis and mitigate its effects on citizens' purchasing power, in light of the continuous rise in global energy prices.
During his intervention in the House of Councilors, Lekjaa explained that the state's support for butane gas costs around 600 million dirhams per month, with the aim of maintaining current prices and not burdening citizens with additional expenses. The government official added that the state also allocates approximately 650 million dirhams per month to maintain stable transportation prices of various kinds, in addition to 300 million dirhams per month to maintain electricity prices at their current levels. The Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget pointed out that these measures come within the framework of the government's efforts to limit the effects of international fluctuations in the energy market, ensure the stability of basic prices and protect the purchasing power of Moroccan families.
