HIBAPRESS
The file of educational administrators affected by promotions has returned to the forefront of parliamentary debate, through a written question addressed to the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, under the supervision of the President of the House of Councilors, regarding the fate of the execution of final judicial rulings and decisions issued for the benefit of a number of educational administrators.
The content of the question indicated that representatives of the affected parties held meetings with ministry officials during April 2026, especially at the level of the Legal Affairs and Disputes Department, where files were presented that were described as ready for execution, with an emphasis on the ministry's commitment to implementing the judicial rulings issued in this file. The parliamentary question raised questions about the progress of the implementation process, the practical procedures, and the time limits set for settling the file permanently, in light of the affected parties' continued demands for justice and redress for the damage they suffered due to the adoption of different thresholds for promotion during the years 2021, 2022 and 2023. It also called for the disclosure of the measures that the ministry intends to take to avoid the repetition of such imbalances in the future and to ensure respect for the principles of merit and equal opportunities within the professional promotion system. The educational administrators concerned are awaiting the outcome of the ministry's interactions with this file, especially with regard to the implementation of pending judicial rulings and the adoption of comprehensive solutions that end the state of tension within the sector.
