Egyptian media personality Mamdouh Moussa announced the preparation of a new program titled "The Leader," which will address the memoirs of the artist Adel Imam in audio and video, confirming that the work team has completed filming about 90 percent of its episodes.
Moussa explained, in statements to Egyptian media outlets, that the program will reveal details and secrets that are presented for the first time about the artistic and personal path of Adel Imam, in addition to special testimonies from figures who accompanied him from his school years to the stardom stage. He pointed out that the work will include interviews with a number of artists who shared important milestones in his career with "The Leader," including Yousra, Laila and other artistic faces, in addition to the appearance of figures from outside the artistic community from Adel Imam's old friends. The Egyptian media personality revealed that the program will present a special journey documenting Adel Imam's travels by train between the cities of Assiut and Sohag, in a revival of a number of stations related to his beginnings and life in Upper Egypt. The episodes are also expected to include rare clips and special behind-the-scenes footage related to a number of deceased stars who had a strong relationship with Adel Imam, including Saeed Saleh and Younes Shalaby, as well as documenting the stages of his receipt of awards and prominent honors during his long artistic career. Mamdouh Moussa is known for his extensive relationships within the Egyptian artistic community, as he has previously presented several artistic programs that addressed the behind-the-scenes lives and secrets of the stars, and achieved large viewership rates. This project comes after a previous announcement by media personality Amr El-Leithy about preparing filmed memoirs for the artist Adel Imam, without revealing additional details about the nature of the work or the party that will undertake its presentation.
