The Royal Moroccan Federation of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Savate, and Similar Sports, represented by its official spokesperson, Mr. Lahcen Labkouri, participated, alongside members of the Executive Office of the International Federation and the President of the International Federation WAKO, in the official opening ceremony of the 2026 Kickboxing World Cup, hosted by the Turkish city of Antalya, with the presence of sports delegations representing different continents of the world.
The Federation confirmed, in a press release, that this participation reflects the position that Morocco has gained within the international sports arena, as well as the continuous presence of the Federation in various events and international forums related to kickboxing, Muay Thai, and similar sports. The release added that the Federation, under the presidency of Khalid El-Kandili, continues to work on developing the sports under its umbrella, alongside supporting international events, which enhances the radiance of Moroccan sports continentally and internationally. The Federation also extended its best wishes for success to all components of the national sports family, including coaches, referees, champions, and practitioners participating in this international sports event.
