On Tuesday evening, the Moroccan Olympic team met its opponent in the quarter-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The national team will face the United States of America team, after occupying the second place in the first group, while the Tariq Al-Saktiwi Battalion dominated the second group.
Contrary to what some pages claim, no player will be absent from the ranks of the Moroccan national team, since none of the eight Moroccan players received the second yellow warning today, Tuesday, during the match against Iraq.
Tariq Al-Saktiwi’s instructions helped avoid the free warnings that the players received in the match against Argentina in the first match of the group stage of the Paris Olympics.
The controversial Swedish referee gave a yellow card to 6 players of the Moroccan national team during the match against Argentina: Mounir El Mohammadi, Sofiane Rahimi, Bilal El Khanous, Elias Akhomache, Osama Tergalin and Zakaria El Wahidi.
In the match against Ukraine, Ashraf Hakimi and Amir Richardson received cards, while today’s match against Iraq did not receive any yellow cards for the Moroccan national team players.
The American team, our opponent in the quarter-finals, will not be absent due to suspension either, as they will play with all their players in a decisive match for both teams.
The match between the Moroccan national team and its American counterpart will take place next Friday, starting at two o’clock in the afternoon.
