On the occasion of the participation of the Moroccan national team in the biggest global football event, Royal Air Maroc announced the launch of an exceptional air flight program aimed at transporting Moroccan fans to the United States of America, in order to support the "Atlas Lions" during their matches in the group stage.
This program comes within the framework of the national company's mobilization to accompany the global sporting event, where exceptional direct flights will be programmed during the period from June 13 to 24, 2026, to the American cities hosting the matches of the national team, namely New York, Boston and Atlanta, in a first of its kind for the Atlanta destination for the company. In total, about 32 additional flights will be programmed, with a capacity exceeding 8,800 seats, with the aim of meeting the high demand from Moroccan fans wishing to accompany the national team. Mr. Hamid Addou, CEO of RAM, confirmed that the company continues its involvement in supporting the national team during major participations, after the success of its exceptional programs during the 2018 World Cup in Russia and Qatar 2022, pointing out that this initiative comes to enhance the presence of Moroccan fans at this global event. The statement clarified that the company will secure 12 additional direct flights to New York on June 11, 12 and 13, 2026 for departure, and June 14 and 15 for return, which will enable the transport of more than 3,300 fans, with the offer enhanced by two regular daily flights during the competition period, to raise the total capacity to this destination to about 7,500 fans. Also, 12 exceptional flights will be programmed to Boston on June 17, 18 and 19 for departure, and June 20, 21 and 22 for return, which will enable the transport of more than 3,300 additional fans. In the same context, the company will allocate 8 exceptional flights to Atlanta on June 22, 23 and 24 for departure, and June 25, 26 and 27 for return, to transport more than 2,200 Moroccan fans. These flights will be operated on wide-body, long-range aircraft, providing high levels of comfort, safety and quality of service, ensuring a distinguished travel experience across the Atlantic Ocean. The company will also offer an exceptional price set at 10,000 dirhams round trip in economy class, at a fixed and non-refundable price, with the aim of enabling the largest possible number of fans to attend this historic sporting event. The ticket sales process is expected to start from May 20, 2026 at nine o'clock in the morning, through the company's commercial agencies inside Morocco, in addition to the electronic platform designated for this purpose.
