Catalan police on Tuesday arrested Jonathan Andic, the son of the founder of the Mango clothing brand, as part of an investigation into the death of his father, Isaac Andic.
Isaac Andic died in December 2024 while on a trip in the mountains near the city of Barcelona. Initially, the death was considered an accidental fall, but the investigation was reopened later after doubts and inconsistencies emerged in some testimonies. According to the authorities, the case is now being treated as a possible murder. Jonathan Andic was questioned by the police and then presented to the judiciary. For its part, the family confirms that Jonathan is innocent and is cooperating with the investigation. The case is still open, and no judicial ruling has been issued yet.
