Last Tuesday night, the investigative elements of the judicial police in the Fourth Security District of Al-Mahamid arrested a former parliamentary advisor and former head of a municipality from the province of Chichaoua, from his home in the Sukuma neighborhood, against the backdrop of suspicion of his involvement in a case related to fraud and scamming through sorcery and charlatanism.
According to sources of the newspaper, the arrest operation took place after the security services received a complaint from three victims who revealed that they were subjected to fraud and scamming by the former parliamentary advisor, as well as his ability to solve personal and family problems through sorcery. The same sources confirmed that the judicial police services listened to the former parliamentary advisor, where they conducted a thorough investigation with him, as well as the victims who stated that they had given him sums of money estimated between 30,000 dirhams and 60,000 dirhams, to be released on bail by the instructions of the Public Prosecution, with tomorrow, Thursday, set as the date for presentation before the court in the Marrakech Primary Court.
