A group of Moroccan fans in France have expressed their anger over the “sale of tickets” for the Moroccan Olympic football team’s next match against its American counterpart next Friday in the quarter-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
According to some Moroccan fans in France, getting a special ticket for the “Atlas Cubs” match against the American team is almost impossible, after the high demand seen in the sale of tickets for the match.
Some supporters who had already bought tickets for the match took the opportunity to resell them on the “black market”, via websites other than the official platform, or via social networking sites at exaggerated prices which, according to Moroccan supporters, reached 400 euros (around 4,000 Moroccan dirhams) per ticket.
The confrontation between the Moroccan national Olympic team and its American counterpart is expected to have a significant presence at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris next Friday, on the occasion of the quarter-finals of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The match between the Moroccan Olympic team and its American counterpart will take place the day after tomorrow, Friday, starting at two o’clock in the afternoon, on the floor of the “Parc des Princes” stadium in Paris.
