The Casablanca-Settat region has begun preparations to accompany the participation of the Moroccan national football team in the upcoming World Cup finals, by studying the establishment of public spaces and giant screens in a number of cities in the region to enable citizens to follow the "Atlas Lions" matches in an organized festive atmosphere.
According to special data, the head of the region, Abdelatif Mezouar, has issued directives to the various departments of the Council in order to mobilize the necessary capabilities to make this initiative a success, which aims to bring the atmosphere of the World Cup closer to the fans and provide safe and equipped spaces to watch the matches.
It is expected that these arrangements will be implemented in coordination with the local authorities, security services, districts and local communities, by allocating a number of major public squares and spaces in the various cities of the region, while providing the organizational and security conditions necessary to receive thousands of fans.
This step comes within the framework of early preparations for the World Cup, especially after the great popularity enjoyed by the Moroccan national team following its continental and international achievements, as the fan spaces are expected to witness a heavy turnout from the fans who want to follow the Lions' matches in a collective and enthusiastic atmosphere.
